Thank you. As a relief teacher having this type of resource is great to focus children's attention. It can be used as a round off activity, individual children's work or a class board activity. Well done team.
Hi Linden, Thank you for your kind words! We're glad to hear these worksheets will be helpful!
I love this, but could I please have the SA font where the letters are sitting on the solid line?
Hey Neeshia, thank you for letting us know about your suggestion. To action your request, could I please ask that you make a change request, which you can make on the resource page. This way we can put it in the process of being made. If you need assistance with anything else, please do not hesitate to contact us.
I love the alphabet book and it is exactly what I wanted but even though I have downloaded the NSW font, the formation practise is the correct font but the other activities are cursive. Is there a way for the whole document to be NSW font please? Many thanks
Hi Donna, Yes, with this resource the formation practice is in the style the students should be learning, the other activities are in Sassoon font. While we feel it is important for the students to learn to write in the correct state font, it is important for them to become familiar with other typefaces. Our teacher Paul has written a great blog about this here: https://www.teachstarter.com/au/blog/exploring-different-fonts-and-prints-with-young-readers/ If you still feel you would prefer the entire document in NSW Foundation Print, please feel free to request a resource here: https://www.teachstarter.com/request-a-resource/ Requests are voted on by the Teach Starter community. We create the top request each week.
I love these books! Do you have any for numbers 1-20 and counting??
Hi Jade, Thank you for your positive comment. We are so glad that you and your class enjoy using this resource. Thanks for your request. We don't have a number equivalent at the moment, but please feel free to suggest it via the Request a Resource section: https://www.teachstarter.com/request-a-resource/. Your request will be voted on by the community. Each week, our team creates the most popular request. If your request hits the top of the list, we’ll be happy to make it for you! Have a great day.
I can only see the words on the dotted lines, is there a version with the letters sitting on the solid lines?
Hi Heather, Thanks for your comment. This resource is available in a number of fonts. If you are after fonts where the letters sit on the solid line such as WA or VIC, simply click on the drop-down menu just above the 'download' button. I hope this helps? If not, please email us a [email protected] - we are always happy to help. Kind regards, Holly
