Now your students can make sure that they check everything when they are editing their work... no mistake gets left behind!
Often students think they have edited their work, but they can easily miss some of the most important aspects. Students use this checklist by cutting one out and sticking it into their books at the end of a piece of writing. They then tick each of the elements off when they have checked it and initial it when they have finished to indicate to you that they have carefully checked everything.
These will be really useful during writing activities, especially for those children who regularly 'forget' to edit :)
This is great. I got my Year 3's using this as they edited their writing in the last few weeks. Thank you.
It is good that there are several copies on the same page. They don't need to be large in size.
I really like this. Each of my senior pupils (we are a one-class school) will get one of these each time we start a new piece of writing. Once they've initialled it I shouldn't be able to find any missing punctuation etc. (ha ha ha ha - you live in hope!)
I hope it helps Karen! We've actually just updated this resource to include 'exclamation marks'.
