A proud peacock template to encourage students to think of all the ways they are smart.
A gorgeous peacock template that encourages your students to think about all of the things they are good at by writing these things in the peacock’s feathers.
How to use this resource:
- Students write all of the different things they are good at in the feathers of the peacock.
- Decorate both the feathers and the peacock body,
- Cut out the templates following the cutting lines.
- Use a paper spring between the feathers and the body to stick both pieces together.
- Create a classroom display with all of the proud peacocks.
Hi I have downloaded this activity and have tried to download the little video from your blog but it just seems to take me to an explore resources page and when i search it doesn't find the video. Any clues please??
Hi Jackie, can you give this link a go and see how you go? https://www.teachstarter.com/au/teaching-resource/im-a-proud-peacock-because-template/. If you have further issues, please email us at [email protected] and we'd be more than happy to help out.
I am going to use it with my Year 5s as an end of semester reflection to go home in their work sample folder
What a great way to use this as a end-of-semester reflection! Wishing you and your class a lovely break.
Thank you so much
Our pleasure Magdalini! I hope you and your students have fun making these Proud Peacocks!
This looks great! I want to use it with the book that was recommended but I can't seem to find the title again. Can you help?
Hi Cath, the book that we suggested was 'All the Ways to Be Smart'.
This is great! I’ll be using this with my kindergarten class as I used your proud peacocks classroom decor pack to make our class name the peacocks
Thanks for your lovely feedback, Emma! We hope your students enjoy this activity.
