A whole class game that consolidates your students' knowledge of measurement concepts - in a fun way!

Marvin Measurement has secured some precious treasure in a locked box, protected by a four-digit code. He created four measurement puzzles and a riddle for you to solve. By correctly completing the puzzles, you will have the four digits needed to open the locked box and gain access to the treasure within!

Your task is to solve the four measurement puzzles to find the digits needed to unlock the treasure box. Use the final riddle to put the four digits in the correct order. The first group to work out the combination to the lock can open the treasure box and keep the contents!

The activities include angles dominoes, a 24-hour time polygon puzzle, a unit of measurement maze and a shape word search.

    Great activity. Is it just me or should the last two domino turns read anti clockwise instead?!!

      Hey Jennifer, thank you for having the time to message us. The aim of the domino game is to place them down as they are, unless specified. So the last two, as there is nothing on them, must be places horizontal (across). Same rule applies to the 90 degree ones, which go vertical. The third and fourth to last ones say turn 90 degrees, but they continue to go down as it is not from the last dominoes instruction.     My Students absolutely loved this activity! It was so engaging and allowed students of varied abilities to work together. Please tell me that there are more investigation / code cracking activities like this coming soon?
