Creative Ways to Use Prepositions Flashcards in Your Lessons
Looking for more ways to use these prepositions of place flashcards in your classroom? Here are some suggestions from our teacher team:
- Preposition Recognition Drill – Hold up a preposition flashcard and ask students to name the preposition. For a more interactive approach, let students take turns holding up cards for their peers to identify.
- Preposition Hunt – Hold up one of the flashcards. Challenge students to use the preposition on the card in a sentence based on objects in the classroom, e.g. The book is on the table. Repeat for each card.
- Sentence Writing Practice – Choose a preposition. Have students write different sentences based on the preposition in their workbooks. Afterwards, have the students choose one of their sentences to share with the class.
